Sub Domain
A sub-domain is just like directory aliasing with the exception that instead of http://www.newdomain.com pointing to http://www.primary.com/newdomain , this time http://newdomain.primary.com points to http://www.primary.com/newdomain. Basically, the difference is you don't need another domain name but instead you choose a sub-domain. For sub-domains, we assign another IP address and assign a directory in your domain as the home directory of your sub-domain's web site.
